SBDC Workshop: Certification – Is it right for your business?

Certifications exist through local, state and federal entities for small businesses that are woman, minority or persons with disabilities owned. Additionally, the federal government has a certification for small businesses that can validate they are socially and economically disadvantaged through a preponderance of evidence. Different agencies have different applications and processes to achieve these designations.

In this workshop, you’ll learn about:

• Certification programs – State, Federal and Third Party Certifiers
• Certification process
• Benefits to being certified
